From Hebrews 10:11-18, in the study of the Book of Hebrews (אֶל־הָעִבְרִים), Brother Gideon Levytam directs us to what the Hebrew author conveys concerning the sacrifice of Jesus the Messiah. The prophets foretold what Messiah's one sacrifice would accomplish. Jesus, the man from heaven, offered Himself as a sacrifice for sins, and now He is seated at God's right hand in heaven—just as David wrote in Psalm 110:1: "A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool." Through the one sacrifice of Yeshua the Messiah, God established the New Covenant, as prophesied by Jeremiah: "Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more." (Jeremiah 31:31, 34)
